Friends and family are coming together to raise awareness and financial support for their friend Deena—a strong, loving mother now facing an unthinkable battle to protect and rebuild her family.

Deena’s oldest daughter, Kaylynne, is a survivor of child sexual abuse by her stepfather, a former IMPD officer. He’s now in jail awaiting trial, but the damage he’s caused extends far beyond the abuse. He drained the family’s savings, left the home in his name, and abandoned Deena to face the fallout with three daughters and one income.

As the legal process moves forward, Kaylynne will be asked to do the incredibly brave and difficult thing—testify in court. And while she prepares to face her abuser, her mother is in a legal fight of her own: trying to keep their home and cover their most basic expenses.

We are raising funds to help this family get back on their feet. Your donation will go directly toward:

• Housing and household expenses

• Therapy and emotional support for Kaylynne and her sisters

• Stability during this critical time
